When exploring the foods that we eat I have taken heed to who, what, where, when and how the USA/FDA regulations are adding fuel to the flame with our health. Our food sources for instance are harvested or farm raised on foreign soil which doesn't fully meet the required guidelines as those of the United Stated. This not only means the soil, but the treatments of the live stock and the identity of the workers (eVerify) in conjunction with those mentioned items we are still encountering the infamous Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) and Zilmax and God only know what else is being added to our foods. Although our population is continuously growing and at a rapid speed the demand and needs outweighs the industry therefore leaving the farmers and the government with a challenge to provide our foods at any means possible. Some also believes that this demand has forced the government into a corner and they are in a predicament to do both supply and population control.
In an effort to keep our heath under control and to the best of our ability the majority of my family have taken an oath on our health and we harvest(GMO-Free) vegetables, climate related, and for those family members that eat meat or poultry have grown accustom to the free range, grass feed, and wild-caught products.
I frequent the local grocery stores and the local farmers markets and I am caution of the country or state(s) of which the foods are grown. I then started to photograph some interesting items but I must say one of the farmers markets has signs posted "No Pictures" hmmmm now that is scary.
